Mpox Quick Facts
Mpox is a rash illness, caused by the Mpox virus
Not considered an STD; however, is spread through sexual contact (oral, anal, or vaginal sex)
Everyone is at risk for Mpox; (MSM have shown an increase of diagnosis)
Other Routes of Transmission
Spread by close contact including direct skin to skin contact with the mpox rash, sores, or scabs
Contact with objects have been used by someone with mpox (surfaces, clothes, linen)
Exposure to respiratory droplets or oral fluids
Mpox Prevention
Avoid close skin to skin contact with items or persons that have been exposed o
Sustain from all sexual acts until blisters have completely healed
Wash hands regularly

Walk-in Mpox Vaccines are available Monday-Friday
Monday-Wednesday; 8:00am-4:30pm
Thursday; 9:00am-7:30pm
Friday; 8:00am-12:00pm
*Clinic is closed for lunch Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-1:00pm
Need two doses (administered 28 days apart). Not fully vaccinated/covered until 2nd dose is released.
