Mpox is a rash illness, caused by the Mpox virus
Not considered an STD; however, is spread through sexual contact (oral, anal, or vaginal sex)
Everyone is at risk for Mpox; (MSM have shown an increase of diagnosis)
Other Routes of Transmission
- Spread by close contact including direct skin to skin contact with the mpox rash, sores, or scabs
- Contact with objects have been used by someone with mpox (surfaces, clothes, linen)
- Exposure to respiratory droplets or oral fluids
Mpox Prevention
- Avoid close skin to skin contact with items or persons that have been exposed o
- Sustain from all sexual acts until blisters have completely healed
- Wash hands regularly
- GET THE MPOX VACCINE!

Walk-in Mpox Vaccines are available Monday-Friday
- Monday-Wednesday; 8:00am-4:30pm
- Thursday; 9:00am-7:30pm
- Friday; 8:00am-12:00pm
*Clinic is closed for lunch Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-1:00pm
Need two doses (administered 28 days apart). Not fully vaccinated/covered until 2nd dose is released.
